Reuse instead of recycling

KM Certified is our most sustainable spare parts option. By combining parts from different components, we can both repair and reuse parts that would otherwise have gone to metal recycling. With KM Certified, we give new life to large quantities of forestry machine parts while ensuring high quality for our customers: sustainable, reliable and cost-effective.

How a spare part becomes KM Certified

1. Dismantling

Our used parts come from our dismantling workshop. We dismantle modern forestry machines to offer parts that are in demand within professional forestry. Selected parts move on to our component workshop to become KM Certified.

2. Inspection

In the component workshop, the journey toward KM Certified begins. The parts are first inspected visually, after which oil samples are taken and a final condition assessment is established. Some parts then require further action to achieve KM Certified quality.

3. Repair

Parts that require action are serviced and repaired. Our experienced mechanics carefully follow the manufacturer's recommended tolerances, thereby ensuring that the parts meet our quality standards.

4. Marking

In the final step, the parts are labeled with the KM Certified seal and assigned a unique, traceable ID. They are then treated with rust protection to maximize the service life of the parts.
